Headlines like this are never pleasant.
They are worse when you know the Father that shot the Mother and Twin 7 year old boys, whom you also know, on the morning of the boys Birthday Party.
My phone has been ringing all morning...
Along with seeing the boys and mother at school each day, my encounter with the entire family was at our recent Holiday Parade. Both of the boys were part of our School Float. Mom and Dad marched along with us. Mom was sweet as can be. Dad....not so much. The entire parade route, he was telling me what to do, how to do it, etc. That was 6 weeks ago.
This puts my PTA responsibilities in perspective along with my entire LIFE, in general.
