Doctrine of The Family

In addition to my weekly Sunday School posts, I have decided to post thoughts and quotes from weekly lessons, presentations, talks, and personal study. It is an effective way to reinforce each message.

I was going through my Church bag and found this quote I used in a RS Lesson a few months ago.
It is from Sister Julie B Beck:

"This generation will be called upon to defend the doctrine of the family as never before. 

If they don't know the doctrine, the can't defend it."

Sister Beck gave a powerful message

to the Seminary and Institute Teachers in August 2009.

The past 2 years at BYU Women's Conference, this talk was referred to and quoted over and over. It is powerful.
