Coming At Us

Tropical Storm Isaac, soon to be Hurricane Isaac, has his eye on us! It wouldn't be back to school without a strong storm on the way. We are in the final days before closing on our new house...trying to get the insurance policy written before the storm is too close and they won't write new policies (like in the next 12 hours)

This storm still has to go over land in Haiti or Cuba, which will change the course and intensity. Meanwhile, I am not ignoring the warnings. Time to review our plan, stock up on supplies, and be prepared for high winds and no electricity for several days.
And we thought we would move out of this house without ever using our accordian hurricane shutters... Silly thought.
