Happy Florida January

Happy New Year 2014
I am not sure if anyone is even reading this blog anymore.
Let me know if you are.
This morning, I was looking out my kitchen window and realized how blessed I was to see beautiful flowers and greenery. Many people in the world are shoveling out from heavy snows or staying inside to avoid the extreme cold temperatures. I am truly grateful to live in Florida and to not experience the extreme snow, ice, and arctic temperatures. I prefer to endure occasional hurricane threats, and sticky humid weather. Rarely do our temperatures go over 90 degrees even in the worst heat of summer and in 34 years,
I still only need my two hands to count how many times we have been truly threatened by a hurricane.
Enjoy the little tour around the blossoms in my yard.
Not bad for iphone photos.

Gorgeous flowers! We, too, are very grateful we live in Florida. We'll take "cold" of 60° over single digits any day!
