Ft Lauderdale Temple Youth Cultural Celebration

I am not sure if/when I will be able to do justice to one of THE MOST INCREDIBLE weekends (and months prior to) of my entire life. I have had many fabulous experiences in my life, however, welcoming the Ft Lauderdale Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints will always be one of the highlights of my life.

For months, the youth, their parents, and the youth leaders of the Ft Lauderdale Temple district made countless sacrifices to plan, prepare, and rehearse for the Youth Cultural Celebration presented at Nova Southeastern University the night before the Temple dedication. They performed for President and Sister Uchtdorf, Elder and Sister Christofferson, President and Sister Boggess, other visiting authorities, community leaders,parents, leaders, friends, and neighbors. I am also certain that angels were present in the audience and as part of the performance.

Seeing the final performance is a testament to the Lord's hand in this event. I have been present at most rehearsals on a Ward, Stake, and Regional level. Angels truly attended to the details of the final performance as miracle after miracle came together.

Megan was blessed to be one of the youth in the video as well as one of the participants in our Stake performance (our Stake is wearing red shirts and forms the letters L D S for the final Stake number before the finale with all 6 stakes)
