I met Des when he got off the school bus and told him that his baby brother had arrived. We spent some fun time chatting after school while the others were napping. He showed me his art from school and explained the technique. When I told him the baby was 20 inches long, he got out the measuring tape to show me how long 20 inches is.
I love this photo, it captures his excitement as he called out, "GRANDMA!!!"
