Halloween Decoration

A Few More Words on Halloween...

My favorite Halloween Party Supplies are my "Cauldrons" (aka Kettles or Pots)

They have been used to hold Candy, Drinks, Witches Brew, Popcorn Balls, Goody Bags, etc.

They can be used for more than one Holiday or Occasion....

I use them on St Patrick's Day as a Pot Of Gold.

Also for any other time of year for Treasure Hunting..

The Pots are found at the end of the hunt full of Treasures!

If you see one on a half price sale... add it to your Halloween Decorations!

I have had these for about 20 years. This was last night's beverage holder. One was full of waters and the other with sodas (we needed more sugar last night)

Halloween Decoration

Plastic Milk Jug Skeleton

This is a favorite Halloween Decoration...one of those with a story. I take it out every year and remember how it came to be part of my Halloween Decorations.

It was made by Tina Sweet, Katherine's Sunbeam (Church) Teacher. Seven years ago, Tina and her mother made one for each of the children in her class and filled the center rib area with Halloween Treats.

This may not seem that unusual, yet, Tina Sweet holds a dear place in our hearts. She has been the Sunbeam and/or Nursery Teacher for every one of our children, except for 26 year old Curt.

Jeffrey is now 24, Andrew is now 21, Katherine is now 10, Megan is now 8. Tina has helped raise each of our children and been such a support to me as a mother. Now Tina has a little boy of her own.

This is hanging in the potted ficus tree on my patio. It scares me every time I catch it in my peripheral vision. Sometimes I want to go move it so I won't get scared at night when it is moving in the breeze. Even being scared, I love this decoration. Halloween would not be the same without it. I enjoy the memory associated with it, also.
