Time to Celebrate... Harry Potter and My Laundry????
When I returned from the airport early this morning, I was determined to finish reading Harry Potter #7. I am happy to report: I am done! In case you are wondering... or don't want to say it... I am a very slow reader. I get the job done, but on a much slower time table than most avid readers. Even though it has been a long time since reading the other books in the series, I must say, this was my favorite. Being afraid to read the ending, I was pleasantly surprised....I liked the ending. The Epilogue could have been a little more detailed, yet it was fine.
I also appreciate all those readers who finished days ahead of me for not spilling the beans as to the details and ending! There were so many twists and turns. Some were huge surprises and some, I pieced together and figured out.
Now for the real reason I am so excited to finish this book......I need to spend some time in this room.... as well as a few other areas in my house that need attention.
The laundry, dishes, floors, bathrooms, dusting, cooking, spills, clutter piles, etc, all waited patiently while I indulged myself in a little mindless summer reading. I knew they would be there for me when I was done. How comforting...not!Ron will celebrate my return to a normal sleep pattern (whatever normal is for this night owl) and welcome a warm meal prepared on time. I am sure he will not mind if the laundry is folded and he does not have to step over a pile to walk in the door.
