Good Bye For Sure

One Last Beach Hurrah

When I wrote that Tuesday was our last Beach Day Hurrah

for the Summer of 2008, I just did not want that to be true....

So....I made a quick phone call to a few of our regular

Beach Buddies and... I squeezed ONE MORE BEACH DAY

in to our summer. Hooray!!!!

It was so relaxing and beautiful.

Now, with reluctance, I accept this fact....

Summer Vacation is over

School Starts Monday... We met Megans teacher, the Back Packs

are ready, The Clothes are even laid out... School Year, here we come

(Even if that %&#* Tropical Storm-Almost a Hurricane- Fay delays our First Day of School!)

Summer of 2008 was Great!

Summer Is Fading Fast!

Last Beach Hurrah!

Yesterday was our last Group Beach Day for

The Summer of 2008.

As best we could, Tuesdays were at Lake Worth Beach

and

Fridays were at Dubois Beach Park in Jupiter.

Yesterday, we had nearly perfect weather and water.

The children played and played and played.

It was an ideal way to say good-bye to summer vacation.

Every beach day, the children work on digging holes.

Usually, there is one HUGE hole by the end of the day.

In or out of the water, the children are so happy.

Katherine buried Erick and made him into a "shark". Note

the sand "fin" near his neck. I have written about this before,

note the shovels the children use to dig. They are, hands down,

the best beach toy. They are perfect for sandboxes and just

plain digging at home, also. You can find them with the

children's gardening supplies at Target or WM.

I am not sure who has more fun.... the children...or the moms!

I look forward to spending the day with the awesome women.

I feel blessed to call them friends.

Happy Back To School Everyone!

Summer was totally fun, just not long enough!

Living In Spring Break

Thousands of people flock to Florida for the perfect Spring Break Getaway... I happen to live in the perfect Spring Break Getaway. It just doesn't get any better than today. 85 degrees... no humidity, light breeze, and not a cloud in the sky.
Oh, and the best part.... Children happily playing all day long with out one feather ruffled.

Note at the far left- this is my most recommended Beach Toy. (photo above) The long-handled shovel with the red bottom. Awesome!!! Especially if you are a child. We have three. I got them in the Children's Gardening Section at Target. The best digging tool around! I really dig it! Above, Miss Katherine was happy to be buried by her peers!




These bathing suits were the center of the Happy Spring Break Goody Bags waiting for each child on the last day of school before Spring Break.... Target! They have an adorable removeable skirt.





Oh... cleavage I did not even know existed!
