Spring Break

Spring Break...

It does not get any better than this... Living in the Spring Break Capitol!!!

Today we went to Lake Worth Beach.

Megan, Jaimie, and Katherine dug a hole that was larger than all three of them combined when complete.

I did my usual, invite all the moms and kids from Church. This makes a trip to the beach fun for everyone... the kids have lots of fun playing with their friends and so do the MOMS!

We were wearing sun screen, but still got a lot of sun.

It was one of those windy days making it difficult to feel the sun frying your skin. We'll return on Friday for more!!!!
What a great contrast to the snow I saw on Sunday and Monday in Utah this week!!!!

Airports

Distinct Airport Demographics..

The two airports I travel in and out of the most often are

Palm Beach International

and

Salt Lake City International.

If I did not know where I was going (blindfolded, ear plugged, etc), just entering the Jetway from the plane would tell me exactly where I am.....

In Salt Lake City,

these are the most common gate-checked items and they jam the jet way as we de-plane..... they carry lots and lots of babies.... (story on that later)

Last night, I knew I was home...arriving at Palm Beach International...the Jet Way in Palm Beach is always jammed with these.....

Carrying generally pushy, old and crabby passengers....
Ah....Welcome Home....Palm Beach County...there is just nothing like it! Mmmmmm
I am happy to be home. Salt Lake was great (COLD), General Conference was fabulous, and being with Ron was the best!!!!!
Time to hit life again.....
More on the trip as the week allows.
We are on spring break now. The Beach is calling our names!

Living In Spring Break

Thousands of people flock to Florida for the perfect Spring Break Getaway... I happen to live in the perfect Spring Break Getaway. It just doesn't get any better than today. 85 degrees... no humidity, light breeze, and not a cloud in the sky.
Oh, and the best part.... Children happily playing all day long with out one feather ruffled.

Note at the far left- this is my most recommended Beach Toy. (photo above) The long-handled shovel with the red bottom. Awesome!!! Especially if you are a child. We have three. I got them in the Children's Gardening Section at Target. The best digging tool around! I really dig it! Above, Miss Katherine was happy to be buried by her peers!




These bathing suits were the center of the Happy Spring Break Goody Bags waiting for each child on the last day of school before Spring Break.... Target! They have an adorable removeable skirt.





Oh... cleavage I did not even know existed!

Spring Break Cookies

Maybe I have been in Florida just too darn long... the heat is finally getting to me!

What do you think about these lovely cookies to make and serve to my Spring Break house guests?

Or better yet, maybe I can prepare them for my Young Women when I teach a lesson on Modesty...Not!

What would you name these? Give me some ideas...be tasteful (no pun intended). Suggestions, Please!

I have been told the dough needs to be darker- spring break buns are not fair! Sticky Buns and Bun Cookies are a few of the name ideas suggested.
